Layered Spinach Salad

from Mom

Ingredients:
2 heads of lettuce, rinsed and cut
1 bag of spinach, rinsed
1 red onion, sliced and chopped
1 carton of mushrooms, sliced
4 oz swiss cheese, grated
water chestnuts, chopped
alfalfa sprouts
peas
4-6 slices of bacon cooked and crumbled

Dressing:
1/3 C white vinegar
3/4 C oil
1/3 C sugar
3/4 tsp grated onion
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp mustard
1 1/2 tsp celery seed

1. Layer salad ingredients in a casserole pan.
2. Blend dressing in a blender and chill.
