Puffy French Toast

from Sister Burdge

Ingredients:
1 C flour
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 C milk
2 eggs, beaten
8 thick slices of french bread/ Texas toast

1. Stir dry ingredients with a whisk. Beat eggs in a separate bowl and then add milk.
2. Add dry ingredients to eggs and beat with an egg beater until smooth.
3. Dip both sides of bread and coat well.
4. Cook in oiled pan or on skillet on medium heat.
